Representatives from our affiliate unions and allies will gather for two-days on September 18th and 19th for business, elections, and workshops on everything from organizing to strikes to social justice unionism. The following is our agenda for the weekend:

Day 1, Saturday, September 18th

8:00 am - 9:30 am: Registration and Coffee

9:30 am - 10:00 am: Opening Remarks from VT AFL-CIO President David Van Deusen and Vice President Tristin Adie

10:00 am - 10:20 am: Report from Executive Director and Q&A

10:20 am - 10:30 am: President 1343 Damion Gilbert on Why We Need to Fight for Members on the Shop Floor

10:30 am - 12:00 pm: Organizing/Steward Workshop

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm: Lunch

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Nominations for Office with Brief Candidate Statements

2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Afternoon Workshops

*Check-in time is 4:00 pm. Guests are welcome to come to the desk or call before they drive up earlier than 4pm on their arrival date and see if their room is ready ahead of time.

5:00 pm - 7:00 pm: Dinner, with special video message from Sara Nelson and possible other Guest Speaker

 

Day 2, Sunday, September 19th

*Check-out time is 11:00 am. Guests may be personally charged an additional night if not checked out by this time.
